I shook my bosstard's hand. He also is a customer at a business the family runs. I told him he was banned from ever shopping there again. He actually looked hurt and very surprised.

No, he was a cheap customer anyway. I never wanted to see the guy again, especially if I was going to work there for a little bit.

Since it was 1 month short of your 5th anniversary, that means they hired you when you were 58. This is evidence they do not engage in age discrimination -- they hired you when you were in a protected class.
