My dream job would be copyediting from home for PBS, so yes, I'd do it if it came up.
Has nothing to do with how I primarily made my living. There is no dream job in that field.

DW and I were about to retire when she was offered a promotion to her dream role. After much deliberation, she agreed but specified that she would take it on for just three years. This turned out to be a good decision as she has recognised that the longer hours and increased stress levels do have more of an impact as she gets older. It has also meant that she has finished her career on a high note.

I guess such a decision will depend on the OPs circumstances and level of personal support.

I was semi-retired and returned full-time until June 14th for my dream job: Teaching at the local Juvenile Detention Center.

Simple answer is no. Iíve been retired for 3 years already. It might be different if I was still working.
