I received my first check from an annuity on which I now have to make my RMD's.

It's nice having a little extra cash so.....

I ordered two bags of Jelly Belly jelly beans. Grapefruit only, off the Internet.

Life is good.

Yay, Not sure on the grapefruit jelly beans but you are a very deserving person and can choose what you like. Please enjoy those JB's with our compliments. They taste better when you smile.

Thanks everyone! Jelly Belly makes some really wild flavor beans. From A&W Root Beer to Pancakes and Maple Syrup to Buttered Popcorn and all kinds of fruit and even Bubblegum. Grapefruit happens to be my favorite. But whatever you like, it's hard not to smile when you're eating jellybeans.

Personally, I would have gone for the toasted marshmallow Jelly Belly.

My happy place is beside a creek in the Smokies.

No jelly beans required, though there is an upscale sandwich place/bakery on the way.

The Buttered Popcorn Jelly Bellies taste exactly like their name, with REAL butter flavor, not the fake stuff. You can even find them in miniature red and white striped boxes that look like the popcorn bags we used to get at the movie theatre. These are my favorite Jelly Belly beans.

Glad you're happy and doing well, Minerva! Always good to see a post from you.

Retired in 2010 at age 64 for medical reasons. Have not gone back to work and no plans to do that.

It took me a little while to figure out where my happy place was. It's right here. Contemplated relocation to NC. Nieces in FL. Nephew in VT. My friends..... right here in central New York.

And breaking from topic----- GO SYRACUSE UNIVERSITY
MEN's AND WOMEN's BASKETBALL!!!!
Both heading for the FINAL FOUR this weekend.
