I'll add to the discussion by saying there is a new building in Lenoir City . It's an annex of Univ of TN Medical Center.
It's a beauty.. I swapped from my prior DR to U of T. Much better care as far as I can see. Inside they have just about every thing you'd need. My everyday 'Aches & Pain 'Dr is there. If tests are needed , I can use their specialist in the building. They are still in the process of getting new services in there. They take Medicare, plus just about every other health plan from what I can see. If there is a major health problem, the Giant U of T in Knoxville Medical Center is available. The nice part about U of T is all your medical info is in their 'puter system, available to all U of T Drs.
AS a side note, I see comments on here saying TV has their own Police & Fire Depts. Yes, we have our own FD who have all members EMT & AEMT qualified. They are all well equipped & trained in the FD. But the Police Coverage is by the Loudon County Sheriff's Dept. TV has all Private Roads. They do not patrol them. If needed they will respond to any type of call. They supply 2 AUX Sheriff's vehicles to our TV volunteer Neighborhood Watch, that will ride around and check homes that have owners away for an extended length of time. They have no arrest powers and are not armed.

Correct, the TV group are just neighborhood patrollers, and the county sheriff does any accosting or arresting that needs to be done. The neighborhood patrols just coordinate with the sheriff's office and act as extra eyes and ears. The cars patrolling look just like the sheriff, and even say sheriff on them, so they are a deterrent also.

Unfortunately there is no covered RV storage facility in TV. It would have to be enormous with 3500 homes here. There is an uncovered storage facility, but space there is getting scarce. We are having a bit of a boom of new residents. Many store their RV's at facilities in the surrounding communities of Loudon, Lenoir City, and Vonore, just a few miles from the village.

Where are the closest movie theaters to Tellico Village and what are their names?

How do property taxes work in Tellico Village:
1. Is there a homeowners exemption? If so how much?
2. Are the exemptions for being a senior? If so, how much?
3. Are there exemptions for being widowed? If so, how much?
4. Is there a cap on how much property taxes can be raised each year? If so what is the cap?
5. Are property taxes paid annually or twice a year?

Is there a cap on how much POA fees can be raised each year?

Thanks in advance for your help.

The state of TN and Loudon county are in charge of property taxes. Tellico Village is located in Loudon County, but has nothing to do with the property taxes. I'm going to refer you to the Loudon County Tax Assessor's webpage. There are some exemptions such as homestead, and I believe an income based senior exemption. You'd have to contact the assessor's office to see if you qualify. There is a calculator on this page to estimate property taxes on any price home.

Loudon County Tennessee Property Taxes - 2017

As far as I know, the taxes only go up if the assessment on the property goes up, or if the county votes to change the rates. They've not done that in the 4 years I've lived here. Our taxes are paid by an impound account with our mortgage, so I'm sorry, I can't say if they're paid once or twice per year.

The POA fees are capped at 5% increase per year.

The two nearest movie theaters are the Regal Cinema Pinnacle 18 in Farragut (17 miles, approx. 25 minutes with average traffic) or the AMC/Carmike Foothills 12 in Maryville (25 miles, but a nice 60 mph drive with zero traffic ever). There were plans last year to build a 12 screen theater in Lenoir City (10 miles), but that did not come to fruition.

That's where I got my handle.

Just a correction to the info about storing an RV on your property, or hosting visitors with RV's. They may be at your property for 7 consecutive days, not 3 as previously stated.
