It's not so much that I "do nothing" it's more that I can pick and choose the when. I've said before that I don't know how I got all the stuff done when I was working. Actually I do know, I did a lot of stuff during the evening and ran around on weekends like my hair was on fire and my ass was catching.

Today I split firewood, did several loads of laundry, made sure that the fix for the hot water tank supply line was working and went to the funeral home for the viewing of a retired Judge.

That is horrible. One activity I would suggest is seeing a counselor.

I have posted a few polls over the years and there is always something that comes up which could make the poll better, either something I thought of myself later or something suggested by another poster. I have concluded that such is the nature of making a poll and that I personally am unlikely to think of everything when I am posting the poll.

Yup. We moved to Maui where I spend most of time in the water - windsurfing, surfing, SUP, swimming. A little sitting on the beach.

Devote my energy to living my life and taking care of my property and those around me.
That wasn't on the list, but it's what I do and I thoroughly enjoy it.

The three G's:

Grandkids
Golf
Girls

(OK, I lied. I couldn't think of a third G.)

At this point 102 responses from 45 respondants equals a little over two responses per respondant. So we are not just engaged in one single pursuit. Stands to reason. Retirement can be filled with great richness of endeavor.
