My full retire is on 5/3/2017 and first check will be july 2017. If I want early retire a few months early say on 2/17 I will get $33 less a month. So by waiting to 5/3/2017 full I would loose $6,000 to $8,000 which would take me 15 or 20 years before I start seeing a loss in my income
Is this a good Idea as I lost job 9/16 When do I apply for social security on 2/1/17 or 2/3/17 to get the $8000 vs the $6000 if I decide not to work any more, like part time. As anybody retired a few months
early before full retirement do to job loss.

I am all for waiting until age of 70 before taking SS. But in your case, if you do not have the savings to wait that long, I think you have every reason in the world to take SS right away. An advantage of starting SS is also that basic medicare cost can be taken right out of that check, so you don't need to worry about medicare payment confusion in the future. You have signed up for medicare, I hope?
capt, I ran your post thru my Internet Translator and it came back with a few questions.....
First of all, I don't see where you're getting the $6K and $8K figures from -- $33 a month is $396 a year.
Also how old are you ?? Will your SS be at Full Retirement Age, 66 or so ?? Are you eligible for Medicaid ??
I am 65 and full retirement is on 5-3-17 at 66. I would receive $2053 a month vs $2019 a month if I retired at on 2017 . This would give me $6000 or $8000 for april to june 2017 depending when I first receive my first check. Does it pay to do this I am really getting an advance on my money. This is what I am thinking if I don't get a part time job only Now getting full medicate with medigap
If you can afford it, wait. If not, you may have to start early.
I retired at 61 and only had my pension for a year until I could draw SS. I put Mrs. NBP on a spending diet. Several potpourri and candlemakers had to declare bankruptcy.
