"Little Big Shots: Forever Young will allow young-at-heart seniors to showcase their hidden talents, vibrant personalities and incredible wisdom. “We are excited to spotlight and celebrate the wit and wisdom of our elders,” said Paul Telegdy, president of NBC Entertainment's alternative and reality group. “We can’t wait to see Steve Harvey in action with these incredibly vigorous and energetic seniors as they give him a run for his money with their unique talents, dynamic personalities and irresistible charms.”

Considering how many baby boomers there are (in addition to the generation before that), I'm surprised no one thought of this before. On the other hand, advertisers hate us because we tend to be brand loyal (won't try out their new stuff), so it probably better be a big hit or it will disappear quickly.

I'm thinking people here will be more interested than those in the TV forum.

Frankly, I'd rather stick pins in my eyes. This is where I have to draw the line. Senior this and senior that! How long you think before it's about grandmas in tutus and other age demeaning pranks sort of like Letterman's 'Stupid Dog Tricks' only with old people? Dignity doesn't get good ratings.

Me too. Sounds like an attempt to cash in on advertising to the huge number of us boomers. I would expect such ads as AARP, hearing Aids, and walk-in tubs. I would not even give it a quick view.

Agree 100%.

OP, you CAN go to your local nursing home/assisted living facility on Talent Night, if you want that sort of entertainment.

Not unless they film it in The Villages and rate it XXX. Then maybe.

I'd rather sit back, relax, and be entertained by the younger group of talented people. Skoal!

The fact that it has that condescending tag "Forever Young" is puke-inducing, and such an incredible irony considering the publicity gush that follows extolling the age of the participants.

The usual creepy mentality about age on display.

This was a popular radio show that later became a television show. These oldsters seem to be having fun.

I'm guessing it will be a big flop. If the seniors on this board won't watch it then who will?
