I agree about Zenni.com. I have 3 pair of glasses. One for just reading. One for computer, and one is progressive, with transitional coating for inside and outside.
(Photogray). All from Zenni. Have tried other places on line and this one is the best. If something isn't right, they will work with you to fix it. And you can "try on" glasses by putting your photo face on the computer screen and trying on the frames. Much cheaper than going to a store for new glasses.

How do you get your prescription to Zenni?

When you get an eye exam, you have every right to request a copy of your prescription. I've done that many times.

And also that way you're never stuck getting frames at the place where the eye exam took place, in case that place does not have frames which you like.

I don't see on Zenni's website how to get the prescription to them. Email a pdf?

They have a form to fill in the numbers. You don't have to mail in the prescription. You don't even have to have a prescription. The hardest part is getting the PD number. Some opticians won't give you this number. They are required by law to give you the prescription, but the PD number is not part of the prescription. Zenni shows you how to measure your PD and their method will give a rough number that will work. I wrote my own prescription because my eye doctor insisted on making my reading portion too strong.
