My mom was that way with her cans of tuna fish. She had them in a cupboard full of them stored in expiration date order.

When she passed away at age 94, she had a stash from years back. My BIL asked "Now, who gets the 'Tuna Collection?'"

My mom was like that about a lot of things with no thought to expiration dates. When we cleaned out her grocery stash in the basement. Ughhh

We have donated toilet paper and paper towels to the rescue mission. That along with socks are a high need.

Buying items like the above is best done in Bulk at Costco with Exec membership and a Citi points. You get money back with Costco, points and if eligible a charitable tax deduction.

Your post caused me to go back and reread the original post, which was about equity investments doing well recently. There was no politics in it, except those which you chose to drag in by a strange interpretation.
