We have a very nice pool in my development. Husband and I are they often. I have a really nice high-neck suit from Chico's-no medical issue but I dont like my boobies being exposed.

Retirees Do You Wear a Swimsuit?

Yes, I do.

I belong to the Y and use their pool at least 3 times a week for classes.

A purely American concern. In Europe, the old men tend to wear even skimpier speedos than the young men

I had a 300# friend who used to wear a speedo. At least he did not need to worry about losing the speedo in the pool. It was well secured by folds of fat.

Well since we bought a house on a lake that came with a pool, I'll probably be in a bathing suit a lot, much to the dismay of my neighbors I'm sure. I love the water though and will wear a bathing suit even though I'm pretty out of shape and at least a few pounds overweight. I'm really hoping that with our new retirement lifestyle, I'll be able to work on getting toned and in shape and come back to change my answer pretty soon!

We have 2 pools in our 55+ community. If I didn't wear a suit it would create a commotion.

Nope. Too skinny and too self conscious.
