I've had a LOT of jobs in my 40 yrs of working but I have to say the most interesting was outside sales for the metals industry. I called on foundries, steel mills, plating shops and sold pig iron, foundry coke, nickel, zinc, cadium, zircon sands and much more
At the time I did this in the late 70's and we were still a great industrial country, I was probably the one woman doing this in the U.S. Or at least West of the Mississippi, I had some counterparts in NYC.
Got to see a LOT of the U.S., Canada and parts of Mexico for business.
Money was GOOD, stress was too much after 9 yrs...so I walked away from a good salary for a woman!!!! In the 70's...
