Aside from work, I usually wear "gym shorts" made on polyester and T-shirts.

Shorts, tank top or tee shirt, sandals. That's all that's needed most days in southwest FL. In winter (Jan/Feb) maybe long pants, socks, sneakers and an occassional light jacket the few days it's cool.

My new fashion interest is bathing suits. Collecting all kinds of nice swimwear for the community pool.

GLAM caftans . I am known for them - the ladies in my family are /were known for them . I wear Stevie Nicks clothing anyway and have for 40 years so why stop . it looks good and I feel good .
Plus i have some pretty serious stomach issues and the caftans / Stevie flowing outfits helps me be able to do things better .

On the flip side.... I'm about 21 months from retirement..... and I look into my closet with disdain. About half the clothes are going to go to Goodwill because I will not want to own "work clothes" once I am done.

I'm already bending to being a little casual - perhaps too casual at work...

But I am tired of feeling bound up and wound up in heels and a dress or a suit.

Tan cargo shorts, sport shirt, white socks and white deck canvas (tennis shoes) in summer.

Cargo pants, t-shirt with long sleeve sport shirt and leather shoes. I really don't give a damn what I look like anymore and I don't care what anyone thinks. Am I getting into retirement mode or what? It is amazing what a couple months will do.

and jacket. Forgot the jacket in winter but I hate wearing jackets so we will see.

Summer - land's end or Duluth t-shirts (armachillo when it's really hot), sport knit 5 pocket shorts (lands end) and teva sandles (barefoot in the house) and sunblock
Winter - long sleeve version of the shirts above, lands end long sport knit or starfish pants, sneakers
I make it a point to get out of my pjs (Soma cool nights) by noon each day

Some days it's my nightshirt..... all day. Otherwise, shorts, t-shirt and tennis or flip-flops. During our three days of winter, I might throw on a light hoodie.

We have cool summers and mild winters, so I wear the same clothing nearly all year round. My at-home "uniform" is a pair of black yoga pants and a black Powell's Books sweatshirt (that is starting to look rather...well-loved ). My default footwear is either Uggs slippers or a pair of black Finn Comfort slides.
