I had no idea, I liked to play a lot when I was young and daydreaming. No set goal per say. Great time.

I knew when I was 10 years old that I wanted to sell houses (proof that I was not a normal child) At age 11, I delivered newsletters, note pads, fly swatters, etc. for a local real estate agent to about 300 homes in my neighborhood. He paid me 2 cents per house! He and his wife each drove Cadillac Fleetwoods, and more than life itself I wanted a Cadillac. At age 18, 3 weeks out of high school, I took the exam and got my license. Made my first sale in 30 days. And 35 years later I am still loving it.

for most of my childhood I guess I wanted to be a mommy and that was all. by the time I hit high school I knew I wanted to go into some sort of food preparation, either as a home ec. teacher, or a dietitian. I ended up majoring in foods and nutrition but got married before I even used my training to make a career. Instead I used my learned skills and hobbies to be a wife and mom. That was 59 years ago.

I wanted to be a farmer since I was living on a farm. I also liked archaeology and thought that it would be great finding ancient objects. I also loved to lie out in the fields at night and gaze at the stars, I was a dreamer.

I wanted to be a fairy or an angel (anything in human form that could fly). :-)

Part 2 - Then when I was a teenager I wanted to be a groupie and follow Stephen Stills all over the world. Only problem was I wasn't daring or slutty enough (There but for the grace of God go I ).

I remember being really young and hearing the term "gentleman". Well, being a girl, I decided I wanted to be a "gentlelady" when I grew up.

A little later, I wanted to be (in no particular order) a lion tamer, a nurse, a teacher, a veterinarian.

Never did any of it. I ended up a high school grad working in factories (where I met my husband) and call centers.

Ultimately a working mother.

Happy and satisfied with what I've done and what I have.

Watching a lot of westerns when I was really young made me want to be a dance hall girl. They were the ones who had the pretty dresses and lots of male attention.

As I got older I realized they were actually prostitutes, so that was the end of that dream.

Later I planned to be a veterinarian, but never buckled down once I got old enough to get side tracked by pretty dresses and male attention.

Stills is one of my favorites. He's on tour with Judy Collins.

I'll meet you there.

when i was 5 years old I was telling people I was going to write books. apparently I taught myself to read by the time i was 4. i told my first grade teacher i was going to write books, and instead of saying "that's nice" or "good for you" or "get good grades and go to college" she said without missing a beat "send me a copy, I want to read it." And i did. She was retired by then and I was 34 years old and living on the other side of the country.
