I don't think we are as anonymous as we think we are.

She did live in Miami before moving to PVB, and she practiced law in Miami. She and I exchanged several private messages about people we both knew in the legal community there -- she was very familiar with the partners of the law firm I used to work for down there. She had a very good reputation as a lawyer -- very, very smart person.

That's awful, 1947, she wasn't very old! I remember her, last year?, posting about going to the hotel during the hurricane. And that she played tennis. And gave great advice and info IMO. She even offered to help teach me about retirement stock planning. Its a little disconcerting that even with great medical her cancer was found so late.
Unexpected and sad.

I remember the hurricane posts from last fall. I think I read her posts mostly in the Jacksonville forum. I was interested in her take on the golf communities there. Based on those, we visited Ponte Vedra last winter when we were in Jacksonville. I wondered what happened to her.

I agree. People give a lot of personal information without realizing it. OTOH, some might not care to be that anonymous.

Brilliant phrasing by Robyn. She and I exchanged a flurry of DM's last year or so, regarding early-retirement and financial planning. Her wisdom will be sorely missed.

Somewhat changing the topic, wouldn't it be wonderful if we could immortalize posters who have passed on, by having a compilation of the "best of..." their postings? There's much erudition and eloquence here... definitely worthy of some form of archival publication.

Add me to the list of people who though she was a wonderful poster. I'm saddened to hear that she's gone.

I was unable to rep you for some reason, so I'll use this opportunity to thank you for the kind and generous words. May I always remain worthy of them.
