HA! Not a chance!

My whole life has been an attempt to counteract their lives. Anger, ignorance, and alcoholism wouldn't have made me happy.

Considering my donor was in prison for most of the first 10 years of my life I would say definitely no.
Since I will never wish to change anything about my life to this point it is a moot point anyway.

Ditto. That, plus inactive, very heavy, angry, and lonely.

No. While they were happy together, they stayed on the farm. They wanted my husband and I to farm with them. We tried, for a few months after we got married. Luckily for us we couldn't get along while working together, so we left.

My husband and I have more fun and money. However, nobody is more intelligent than my dad. Not even any of my smart nephews and nieces.

No way! They were poor, uneducated, had substance abuse issues, mental issues, five divorces between the two, and had more kids (6) than they could support financially or provide the necessary attention (i.e., neglect).

I have tried to duplicate the life I had as a kid. Happy times. Now if I can just get the Airplane, boat, and RV back into my life I would be set. Would also love to have the library that my parents have in their home and my dads collection of tools. He has an awesome garage.
