Nightmare jobs... hmmm...any of the following:

Teacher
Anything connected with the medical or dental field
Salesperson if I had to do cold-calling or go door-to-door
Child care
Accounting (I hate math)
Anything that would involve going up a ladder (I'm not afraid of heights but I have a poor sense of balance)

There are probably a few more but those are the ones that come immediately to mind.

I'm grateful that the flight attendants are there with their extensive safety training, but I'm always happy not to be one of them.
I was one of them for 33 years and it sucked.

any job with the VA -- they don't train their supervisors and I spent the worst 2 1/2 years of my 35 working years with NAVAHCS Northern AZ VA Health Care System - biggest mistake of my life.

My worst job - I only lasted 3 months - was working in a potato chip factory. All I did, for 8 hours a day, was pushed the have into the boxes as they came down the conveyor belt. Those of us that had that position cheered when the conveyor belt broke down.

A cashier in retail. John Q. Public is not kind, patient, and too many of them are blindly stupid and crass. I don't know how these folks tolerate it. After enduring the abuse, and reaching my limit, it would be so tempting to "reach out and touch someone", but then I remind myself that I look terrible in orange and striped jumpsuits...
