This is a take off from my "Fall" thread.

I love Spring. The days get longer, we can open the doors and windows for fresh air after being closed up all winter.

The days start to get warmer.

My shorts sandals and short sleeve shirts come out.

The jacket is only kept for the cool mornings or evening.

The trees and flowers begin to bloom.

Greens and color takes the place of browns and grays. ( and dirty snow).

The air smells fresh and sweet.

The sun shines longer.

Summer is coming.

Of course my spring environmental allergies start, but I actually embrace them!

So, what season do you like, and Why?

I love fall because it is relief from the long hot summer. Enjoy the cooler weather, chile harvest and roasting, State Fair, Balloon Fiesta, fall foliage, etc. With all the kids in school, it is a great time to take a vacation.

Spring brings too many allergies and is very windy.

Spring for the same reasons. I like fall, but I dread winter. You can erase Jan, Feb, and March from the calendar as far as I am concerned. April and October are my fav months.

Fall. College football, crisp weather, cooking awesome soups and stews, wearing sweaters and cozy sheepskin boots, fires in the fireplace, beautiful leaves . . . and as ABQ2015 said, Balloon Fiesta!

I'm happy to live in a place with 4 true seasons.

Winters can be great or can disappoint - either too harsh or too mild. Spring is welcome and brings many blessings that are tempered by pollen and allergies. The single good thing about summer is vegetable gardening. Fall is divine, can't think of a single drawback.

Spring, the earth is waking up and everything smells fresh and a new start begins.
Next the hot summers, great for arthritis. Winter cold sucks for too many reasons.

I love fall. I loathe humidity and summers and fall feels so fresh. It also has character (for me), like a touch of melancholy and a good feeling about being home.

Fall, Winter, and Spring are lovely here, but Summer is too humid for me.
I'd say my favorite is Fall. Humidity drops, but the days are still warm enough for swimming. We're at 1500 feet, it's about 7 degrees cooler up here than sea level, and our pool gets too cold in winter, and hasn't warmed up enough in Spring.

So we have to swim in the ocean in Winter and Spring. Hardship city!
