Not wanting to spend high (+$300/month) fees for wintering at a MH Community (doesn't have to be +55) any suggestions? I can see a ton of MH for low prices (-$30000), but monthly rents are high when your on a budget. I have a friend up here that has a place in Lakeland which he tells me is around $150/month- I could live with that easily.
Having same issue when I look at RV parks also. I'd have no problem getting a used RV and storing it a park annually. I'm not looking at close to beach/coast either.
I'm leaning more of renting for the 3-4 months for a higher price and not have the headache of owning anything- but the H is hellbent on looking at this alternative.
Thanks! Upstate New Yorker who is tired of snow
