A few people from my school ended up in jail for all sorts , a lot of them had kids when they were quite young , and one ended up appearing in Waterloo Road for 1 episode.

I checked on Facebook for my high school reunion and I saw this friend who I met in high school senior year, I think she's Mormon and just moved to that high school as I did. She was really attractive. I guess she married young being a Mormon. But she is now single and work in some retail shop. Nothing wrong with retail. But I thought she had lots of potential, I would never have guessed that's how her life turned out. Of course she is a grandmother now too.

Of my closest friends from high school, one stay at home mom, one small business (frame/gallery) shop owner, two attorneys, one cardiologist, one teacher-later principal. Graduated in the 60's- many classmates were drafted and went to Vietnam.

I have no idea. I have not kept in touch with my high school friends and have no desire to. They probably feel the same way about me.

I was thinking the same thing when I read your post. We moved away, never attended any reunions and I'm not on FB to keep current.

The classmates, with whom I am in touch, went on to the same college with me. Two were apartment roommates. None live in the high school town, and only one lives in the high school state. Not sure that we would have been as close if we had gone to different colleges. I interestingly, two live relatively close to me in retirement- and another is looking at homes in the area.

Some went to Vietnam, some didn't. High school was 50 years ago so I have no idea for most of them.

One of the "hoods" in my graduating class went on to be the Chief of Police. I sure didn't see THAT coming.....

Another classmate is married to a major Hollywood star.

Unfortunately, a lot of them are dead......I graduated a loooong time ago.
