If you are going to be without plans try going to a restaurant/hotel with a Thanksgiving buffet. There will be plenty of other people there as well & you can enjoy a good multi-course dinner with all the trimmings without any of the stress of cooking & cleanup... it's a nice change if you've never done it before, I was in a position to do it several times in my life. (In fact now that I think about it, one time I was in Bangkok during Thanksgiving & went to an American owned pub where they had a nice turkey/dressing spread & everyone was in a pleasant & socialable mood.)
