Tells a story doesn't it? Not sure what it is but it says something. This used to be my fav. forum because it is always interesting, lots of collective wisdom, and a good sense of humor.
But nowadays I am more engaged in current events and what's happening around me.

RE:Politics and Other Controversies

My elderly *80 yr old+ MAGA redhatter father is heavily into talking politics and gets pretty upset over it - when the day comes when he passes, I'll always ask why couldn't he enjoy the final chapters of his life in bliss and enjoy what life has to offer him (a very comfortable retirement in the Greatest Country in the History of Mankind with safety, security, world class health care).....but he insists on watching a certain F## News Network and regurgitating everything he hears from them as fact.

My recommendation to him several times was to not pay attention to all of that and enjoy his retirement.

I read Politics and other Controversies but don't post there because it goes so fast your post is overwhelmed in no time.
