When I first heard the term "cremains," I thought, "Sounds like 'craisins.'"

While we don't mind referring to ourselves as seniors, although we barely qualify (I might not even qualify as I'm 59), we affectionately refer to our older neighbors as "silvertops', but not to their faces.
I call them "cotton tops" -- not sure where I heard that term but I'm right up there with them.
I go to a big church, our seniors group is called Vintage. Another churches is named XYZ and anothers is Prime Life.
This reminds me of a time when I was with my daughter and we were trying to find an address which as it turns out was in a complex of little shops. I drove past the location so I had to turn around.a I drove into the parking lot of a senior living facility--the newer ones seem to have circular driveways. I quipped, "Here we are at the Final Frontier--where I'll probably wind up." My daughter was momentarily confused until she realized I was kidding.
Does that imply reincarnation? Could be controversial....
