Triple the number of miles bicycled in 2017
Otherwise, exercise at least every-other-day

We already eat pretty darn healthy and exercise regularly... so just to continue with that. A little more variety in exercise now that DH is retired....

Reduce our expenses and increase our travel, get purged for the move in 2 years. Stuff.

A healthy and happy New Year to everyone!

I don’t make resolutions: I wake up and set an intention before getting out of bed each day. Some days that works well and other days it’s forgotten before my feet hit the floor.

Still, that's less than 1/2lb a week, so I'm hoping I can do it. I'm overly fond of drinking Coca-Cola though, as IMO it actually works BETTER than the newer albuterol asthma inhalers when breathing gets tough.

Put me on notice, and make me stick with it!
You are now on notice. Just do it. You will be surprised how much better you will feel! Keep us posted on your progress.

My resolution is to remember to write 2018 not 2017.

Those may sound like unimportant accomplishments but, when thanked for out loud, they became blessings to be appreciated.

I found that doing this every night last year made me feel much more appreciative of every aspect of my life. Yes, some days it was very hard to come up with three things for which to be grateful -- but those were the days when I needed to do so the most.

And I found that it was very important to express my appreciation for the three things OUT LOUD, as that tended to make me focus more on the positive aspects of my life.
I just did this! Thanks for the suggestion

good idea to do this! And I do that process daily. But, too, being alive is enough for me, and any time/life (and time left) is a gift, precious, and endlessly fascinating to me.
