Yes, me.

I am around 16 years old in my head. I'm not anywhere close to that age in my body. I can't run anymore. I can't exercise anymore. My balance sucks half the time. If you were to meet me you'd think I was healthy as a horse (where did that saying come from?), but it's a sham.

I protest! But it does me no good.

Oh, and I irritate a lot of others as well, but for a different reason. LOL!

i was running 5 miles every other day . the last 3 months i have been getting a soreness in the side of a knee so i am down to 1 or 2 days now of running .

i do other cardio but nothing is as effective for my blood work as the running .

i still lift weights every other day but my body takes turns hurting in different places almost daily .

getting old sucks!

i always say getting lucky now is when she leaves you alone ha ha ha .

my fantasy is to still have 2 women but that is only so they have someone to talk to while i nap .

I feel the same way. Although my mind has never been sharper, my body reminds me every day that I'm not 23; I'm 68.

When I was a little boy, I wondered why the old people walked so slowly. Now I know why.

Now if only they could figure out how to do a brain transplant for me into that 23 year old body.

You may have to replace running with something with less impact. I think ellipticals are the rage now.

i have been using the elliptical and the bike for 15 years .

the problem is they are never as intense as my running is for me . i have been a gym rat for 16 years now . my legs give out on the bike trying to pedal fast enough to get my heart rate high enough so my blood work is effected .

until i started running i was on blood pressure meds , lipitor and diabetic .

once i started the intense running everything went way down and no meds were needed .

cardio exercise is only cardio exercise until we get used to that level .once we get efficient at it it no longer works well . that is what happened with the bike and elliptical . there effectiveness eventually went away for me ..now it takes a lot to get in my upper range and running seems to be the only thing that works for me . i don't run on concrete though , only a tread which is cushioned

^^ In my neck of the woods it is snow shovels. Once done, I fill a tub with Thera-gesic, and set a timer for an hour so the wife will come in an turn me over.

The saying you are as young as you feel is a crock. I feel like 30 in my head, but my body feels like 80, and I look 60. It's all very confusing ;0
