So the recent music thread got me thinking about a Twitter thread I ran across a couple of years ago, probably inspired by the line "It was 20 years ago today, Sgt Pepper..." when it was actually 50 years after the release of that song. The Beatles songs need updating for their aging fans! (Just for fun. And Beatle member's solo songs need updating also.)

The only song I remember from the original thread is "Back in The AARP" I'll get the ball rolling:

The Long & Winding Story

I Want to hold your hand ( & take your pulse)

Here Comes the Soup

How could you possibly forget one whose title can be left as is?

When I’m 64

She Fell Down On the Bathroom Flooring
Everybody’s Trying to Be My Heir
All Lives Must Pass
Happiness is a Warm Bun
Your Mother Would Know
When I Fell
You Don’t Hear Me
Fixing a Hole Where The Brain Runs Dry

and another title to leave as is: I’m So Tired

I actually played that last year on my birthday when I turned 64.

For me the other favorites are:

The long and winding road
Let it be
Strawberry Fields

and the best of all,

While my guitar gently weeps

You’re welcome. I’ll try to think of more. I love doing this type of thing.

That was 11 years ago for Paul.

Beatles music played backwards sounds better than most new stuff today. Seriously.

"We all live in a yellow assisted living center... a yellow assisted living center....a yellow assisted living center."???

"Strawberry blood bruises (from blood work) forever...."

"A looong and winding staircase..."

Lol

Thank you for this stroll down amnesia lane...

Other songs besides the Beatles need yo be updated too...
