Guns n' Roses "November Rain."

"Rockets in the falcons in the cold November Rain." Didn't make much sense to me at 11, but I was certain. ALLEGEDLY it's "and I'll just end up walking in the cold November Rain."

Eh, whatever.....tomato, tah-mah-toe.

My coworker was singing "Gimme the pizza and free my soul, I wanna get lost in your rock and roll..."
He always was a bit of a chow hound.

"Went to a dance looking for a man, saw Barbara Ann..." Geesh romance makes a lot more sense, doesn't it?

I've learned a lot in this thread! I've had some misunderstood lyrics corrected right here for the first time!

My most recent one is Portugal's song "Feel It Still." I thought she was singing "Ooh ooh, I'm a rebel with a kick stand" (thought it was referring to her having a motorcycle) but it's really "I'm a rebel just for kicks and..."

Hubbie laughs at/with me every time it comes on the radio now.

Toto's "Africa". Up until a few months ago I thought they were saying "I MISS the rains down in Africa" but he's actually singing "I BLESS the rains down in Africa".

LOL Four-year-old granddaughter "helping" Dad clean up the basement. Dad puts on a Christmas CD to keep little girl entertained while he sorted through boxes and she rode her trike in the cleared space, singing merrily at the top of her little lungs, "Oh what fun it is to ride in a Hokin' Dokin' sleigh."

Little girl is 16 but we still enjoy a sing-along in the hokin' dokin' sleigh.

I can see clearly now, the rain is gone. I can see all icicles in my way.

I figured the rain melted the icicles. Long time before I found out it was "obstacles".
