Just got out of the hospital after four days with the flu. Came home with a bag of drugs and feeling like a limp noodle drowning in heavy cream sauce.

Don’t get this misery if possible. Everyone take care of yourselves.

Oh and a big shout out to BrightDogLover and all the nurses and aides and techs in or were in the medical field. You are the unsung heroes of our time. The doctors would be nothing without you.

Glad to hear you are recovering. It was a nasty one this year, wasn't it? Just curious: did you have your vaccine this year?

I am glad you were able to come home. Recovery seems better when you are in your own surroundings. Don't be in a rush to resume your activities...... give yourself plenty of time to recover completely.

Fluids, fluids, fluids!!

Hubby and I in the middle of flu here in Oklahoma. We got sore throats Saturday and symptoms still there. It is a nasty one. And no, didn't get the shot. Sure will next year. OMG its a tough one! We are doing well, though, with home care but boy I can see how this could turn really serious real quick.

Yes I did. I don’t know if it would have been worse without it. The doctors’ opinions ranged from “Yes” to “They’re not doing anybody any good.”

Thanks. I’m told it will be awhile but it’s going on the right direction.
