Let the lecturing begin or for those with a sense of humor, the laughing.

The two most glaring errors in argumentation, exemplified at the extreme in one link. Anecdotal evidenced, combined with presumption of causation from correlation. Not to mention "It was in my facebook news feed."

Bustle.com? Where do these websites come from with these weird stories?

I'll stick with my vegan diet. It's working for me.

I have no interest to be 90 or 100, but I’m good with vodka and hot dogs.

My dad used to say these diet fads wouldn't actually make you live longer - they just make it SEEM longer. Since he lived to just a few months short of his 90th birthday despite having 3 kinds of cancer, I think he was right.

And the most likely causes of his cancer were (a) his smoking and (b) his working in a machine shop in his youth where toxic substances were everywhere, and handled with bare hands and no respiratory masks.

To be frank, a lot of these "what caused me to live to be very old" diet "secrets" are just stupid.

At some point, it's mostly genetics. We know what foods are healthy, and what isn't. All any of us can do is try to move the needle in our favor by moving toward their healthier side of that dial more often.
