I think about it for financial planning and for whether it is worth planting slow growing trees.

But nobody is "average" so each of us still has a good chance on any given day of beating the reaper.

I just saw this video and would like to think I will be this way when I get to retirement age instead of thinking of the amount of time I have left!

NSFW due to the eff word!

Almost every day or multiple times per week.

Without dwelling on death too much, thinking about time left can make one savor more and enjoy each day, each week, and moments more.

And when thinking of purchasing anything I think about whether I really need it, considering my age and time left.

I'm also stunned by hearing the denial at times surrounding it.

A dearly departed friend of mine said at age 70 when new car shopping, "This may be the last car I ever buy." She said it 3 more times. Gave up driving at age 90, lived until 94.

I’m 68. Ten more years would be fine. What I don’t want is to live too long. I don’t want to outlive my friends and family. I saw too much of that with my former job. I trust that God will give me the right number of years.

So yes, I have thought about it and I want to make the most of this part of my life

Is it denial??? My Mom lived to age 92, my FIL the same. Both in their own homes until their last month or so. I'm 65, DH is 66. When we bought our most recent home last year, I asked, Do you think this is our forever house? He laughed and so did I.

I just bought my third new car since 1992. If I keep it 15 years, I'll be 80. Certainly I thought of that!

I got a chuckle from your tree comment. I planted a dwarf mugo pine 3 years ago. It didn't make it through last winter so I replaced it with a new one last summer. Also a slow grower. I look at it sometimes and think I should have bought a bigger one to start.

It's always on my mind...My parents went out early.
I try to enjoy life to the fullest, nobody knows what's around the corner.

Better things than death to think about .

Yeah, I think about it, was thinking about CDs and wondering if at age 60 I want to go for more than 5 years.

I think about it but I refuse to dwell on it.
