Write stuff down if your short term memory is an issue. Put bills on auto pay, schedule prescription deliveries, you get the drift...

I'm not knocking anyone for cannabis use, its got its place and many people are now using it.

I was going to say something else, but I forgot.........

I know a lot of guys around your age with the same habit. Some drink, but not very heavily. No one seems to have any memory impairment, and everyone is working and productive into their 60s.

Curious why you don't smoke it?
Eating pot has never worked out well for me.

I don't know, dang it, I forgot the question!
Alcohol is empty calories. Were you basically not eating?

Try CBD oil. All the healing benefits of weed without the high. I know... where's the fun?

Some of us hate smoking. Gag, cough, retch. One brownie is not going to impact weight, either.

I can't make 'em strong enough to even feel a darn thing.....but seems I do sleep better, so OK.

Do some research. I was looking thru my bookmarks because I know I had something on the bad effects of weed. Couldn't locate THAT article, but look what I did find: It's from 2014, but still..... https://www.biosciencetechnology.com...-affect-memory

That is correct. Around 5 pm, I would start drinking. If and when I ate, it probably wasn't much, and probably not nutritious.

One of my favorite haunts during the week is to go the gym after work and work up an appetite. There's a BBQ place I like that's open fairly late after I get out of the gym. I'll usually get a pulled pork or brisket sandwich - I eat Carolina sauce on pork and a "Texas Tea" sauce on the beef, and fried okra. I'll also order a pound of smoked wings in a mayonnaise-based BBQ sauce that is popular in Alabama. I'll wash it down with a couple of craft beers brewed on site
