Oboz hiking boots might work very well for your feet. They have the arch support, narrow heel, and roomy toe box. They are more expensive and you do have to size up a half size or one full size, but they are very high quality hiking boots.

Interesting that she said that, and wondering how true that really is. I have had multiple operations on my feet due to running and genetics, including an artificial joint in the great toe on one foot. The PT that I have done afterward have all involved trying to pick up marbles with my toes. Which means curling them as a way to strengthen them.
