Believe me, nurses (especially by the time they retire) develop pretty good radar for anyone who wants to use them for free.

I am a retired RN and my husband gets 'nursing assessments', you bet. Of his diet, (since I select and prepare the food), his Basal Metabolic Index, lab values, blood pressure, mental status and other assessments. I made him a MAR (medication administration record) so he can take his pill at the right time and not forget that he already took it. It is on the wall next to the medicine cabinet with pencil hanging from a string.
