I think we mostly enjoy the music of our teens and twenties. The supermarket we go to has a lot of reiree shoppers. They play the oldies on the store PA system nonstop. Right now I'm listening to the oldies music channel on cable TV. We've got lots of vinyl but it's easier just to listen to any song I want to hear on Youtube where most of the music of the past is just a few seconds away.

Mine was "Close to You" by the Carpenters. I like the Carpenters. Not sure about "defining my life", whatever that means.
