Anyone know a place where volunteer can post (communities, best, places)

a desired position for them self? The ideal volunteer job for me.



They used to call such a place when looking for a job "situations wanted." This would be "volunteer position wanted."


I've tried to volunteer in 5 places none have been a good fit.



I'd like to find a site wherein a potential volunteer can post what we would like to do - our best skills, desired location and environment, time requirements, etc.

look for a facebook page for your area. Ask there and you might get some suggestions.

Otherwise, everyone and their brother is looking for unpaid volunteers and most will happily take anyone with a pulse.

There is often a regional consortium for volunteer organizations (for shared resources / healthcare /training / leadership, advocacy...)

What, exactky, are you looking to volunteer to do?

That will help us point you in the right direction.

Agree with the above, but try the United Way, Red Cross, or Salvation Army. Again, if all you are willing to do is provide free bikini waxes to the Tropicana models, you may be narrowing your focus a bit too much.
