Default ...she's real fine my 409...

Driving my 2010 Dodge Challenger R/T.
When I bought her in July of 2016, this was a car I meant to keep for the rest of my days in retirement (31DEC2017). Without even trying, Kiki had over 20,000 miles in the first year. Comes with living forty minutes from everything. So, I bought a V6 Camaro for everyday driving to offset the wear and tear on Kiki.
Plus, I put her on the 6,000 mile limit on the auto insurance. That allows me about six uses a month. And I cherish every chance I get to drive her.
At this rate with the proper maintenance and no catastrophic accidents, Kiki should be around for a long time.

My wife and I walk everyday. We carry a picker and a couple of empty bags to pick up trash. Certain items we pick up are worth "points". For example, drink containers from the local Dairy Queen are worth 5 points, Single serve alcohol containers are also worth 5 points. Articles of clothing are worth 20 points. We keep track of the points and when we get to 300 we get ice cream Sundays. In a normal week we usually get 300 points so we get a treat. The cool thing is it usually takes 5 miles walking to get some points, so calorie wise, we're still burning more then we consume, and our town looks better for it, a win-win.

We often have snacks instead of dinners on the weekends.

I always stock up on a variety of cheeses, fresh fruits, crackers and other gourmet snacks to go with wines for our weekend indulgences. Since we often had similar snacks while traveling, having a good wine from the country or wine growing regions which we had visited can bring back great memories.

My other indulgence is chocolate (plain dark or with hazelnuts or almonds). Because chocolates taste best when they are freshly made, it's very rare that we could find good chocolates matching the ones we had when traveled or brought back home after a trip. One time, I had a good friend from Australia shipped a box of chocolates from a famous shop in Melbourne. They were incredibly delicious. I only had to pay for the shipping fee which was several times the cost of the chocolates. This was one indulgence that I could not afford to do again!

Dr. Enuf. It's a local energy drink. A case of 24 is $19.68 at Sam's Club and does me a month.
