We spend a fortune in public education yet our results suck. Fix this like we went to the moon

We spend more than any in medical yet are no where near the heathiest nation. Fix this

We have political parties that can't agree on positions because their ideas are worshipped like they are tenants of a religion. Fix this.

We never hear both sides of an issue such as gun control. We need to know how many lives are saved by citizens with guns as we focus on mass shootings gun damage. Fix this media.

Why can't we fix these? People have biases that seem to get in the way of intelligent open debate on these key issues so we can begin to fix it advance these key issues

Why can't recycling of plastic, glass, metal, aluminum, and cardboard be made 100% available and mandatory everywhere?

Yes, good one. Also they have wide open work spaces now. I feel like it is all a step to prepare us for a modern urban world where we will be living and working in smaller spaces and crowded conditions which of course will be noisy, smelly and with limited to no privacy. Glad to be graying out of this brave new world. Remember quiet cozy restaurants with high padded booths and thick carpet, soft background music and soothing lighting?

It's quite long, and the additional money spent would have to come from somewhere else.

I hate having to get out of the car in bad weather, go inside, wait in line behind someone who wants the cashier to check their last 20 scratch lotto tickets & then: “Lemme have two of those ... one of these ... four of th ... wait. No, no. Okay; lemme have 5 of those, one of these ...”
You could always move to New Jersey where you don't have to get out of your car because gas station attendants pump the gas for you.

Also the two countries share the Rio Grand River so who should lose their water rights?

As for space exploration, I'm all for it, but tend to wonder if it wouldn't be easier to first colonize our vast tracts of uninhabited desert on THIS planet. Water is needed no matter where man goes. If they can't do it HERE---well.....
