Thankfully, my local gym started an Ironman Indoor Triathlon. In six weeks, one needs to row 15,000 meters, cycle 112 miles, and run/walk 26.2 miles. So far, four days into the "contest", I've rowed 6,000 meters, cycled 15 miles, and walked 3.75 miles. We don't get a medal, but "finishers" are entered into a raffle for prizes.

I'm down 4 1/2 pounds since the start of the "contest". Cutting down what I eat at evening meals is helping too.

Headed out the door right now to get some more mileage in.

Ooh, I like that! Mine doesn't do that but no reason I can't do it on my own.

My gastritis will be helpful. Not something I recommend. Medication is working and it will pass, but not until after the holidays.

I have not gained any pounds even after 3 pies at Thankgiving. This year I will do some baking of cookies, mostly for one of my kid’s party, we bought some wine for them, we enjoy the buying experience but not drinking them. So if I stay away from the alcohol and cookies, I should be good. But honestly doesn’t mater what I eat, lately, it bounces back to the same lowest level in the last 3 months. The key is to eat lots of vegs at night, almost plant based. I can eat anything at lunch. That’s my plan to not put on weight.

I "fast" twice a week. Not an actual fast - three protein shakes - I use "Plant Head", available at the Vitamin Shop, add antioxidant berries, and allow myself unlimited green vegetables. No salt or sugar.
Usually, I add some Suja probiotic cider vinegar. It's available at my supermarket. Drink tons of water. And walk whenever possible.

https://www.sujajuice.com/product-ca...nsely-powerful - I swear by these!
