I bought one of the first TRS-80's from Radio Shack, sometime in the late 70's. 4k of memory, and a tape recorder for program and data storage. I gave $495 for it and had to order it and pre pay. Used the language "BASIC", no internet, no word processor, no spreadsheet. Spent many hours writing a routine to sort numbers. Back then, number sorting was a challenge.
