This is the general response i give to people that give me that weird look when i give my ten cents about kids.

Since i don't have any, i don't know. But i figure, i was once a kid. I remember what went through my devious little mind.

What do you think?

Think about what?

That you are still devious yet are now projecting it onto small children?

I think you are getting old

We are all getting old

Why do grandparents worry about their grandkids. Doesn't that mean they raised bad kids? LOL

Even if what you said is true, but kids growing up at a different time would have different experience in life.

I'm puzzled by this thread. The title calls to mind a more wistful, delightful time of youth.

But it's not about that, at all.

You have no children and seem to very much dislike children.

Which is based on, as you say, your devious little mind when you were a child.

Well, I didn't think I had a "devious little mind" when I was a child, and also can recall some hilarious mistaken notions I had out of pure naive ignorance.

I think you get a weird look because you don't recognize and enjoy the pure innocence of children. Because you yourself weren't an innocent one, and you didn't raise any children to observe the innocence of most.

I think you're perceived as a negative person because you don't recognize and enjoy the pure innocence of children. Because you weren't an innocent one, and you didn't raise any children to observe the innocence of most.
Not really devious, you know how kids are - you were one once.

I just get tired of people complaining about their kids instead of just enjoying them.

I am actually a very positive person. One lady said she looked forward to seeing me the once a week we get together since i make her feel so happy.

I guess maybe it is more of a question of why these ladies are all so grumpy. Sheesh - kids are kids.

This post caused me to go to your posting history, Clemencia, because it's so very odd. Especially when taken together with the OP, that was also very odd.

The last 15 or so of your postings look completely normal.

Are you ok tonight?
