I thought it would be fun to hear your opinions about your favorite toy.

By retirement age you have attained a lot of experiences.

As for me, I love music.

My favorite toy is my Bose headphones

Couple that with a Spotify music app on your smartphone and you have the whole world of music at your fingertips.

What is your fav?

My favorite toy is model trains. Both as a child, and as an adult.

My second favorite toy from childhood is my erector set. I had a medium sized one, my dad had super sized ones ill inherit later.

Wonder if they are worth anything?

Hmmm

In addition to loving roses (I used to have 200 roses) I'm a doll lover. I still have my dolls from when I was a kid born in 1965. I'd love to find a Buffy doll one of these years and an older Shirley Temple but prices for both were sky high the last time I bought dolls. I do have a Mrs. Beasley. I've always wanted Buffy and Mrs. Beasley but my mother didn't like the look of Mrs. Beasley so refused to buy her for me. I assume the Buffy doll was sold out Christmas Eve when they went shopping for our toys.

I also collect more expensive Barbies.

Lately it's been Alexa (Amazon Echo) because I can get radio stations from all around the world and any kind of music I am in the mood for. But also, in the spring and summer, it's plants--mainly perennials, but also a few vegetable plants.

My favorite toy is my Fender Telecaster Guitar in Honey Burst. I bought it after scouring Craigslist for months waiting for just that type of instrument. When the right one came along.....I pounced. We negotiated and arrived at a good price for both buyer and seller. Cash talks, others walk.

Compared to my old instrument, this Fender feels like a Stradivarius that would fly out of my hands if I let it.

Right now it’s my iPad, but I need to get a proper camera eventually.
For my husband, it’s his binoculars, he uses it to look closely at everything in the garden by just sitting on his couch in the California room.
