I couldn't even estimate the hundreds of thousands or even millions of dollars I counted and faced for night deposit drops. I was good at it, but there was one old-timer who was a legend for being able to just riffle the notes in a stack and come up with a correct amount. No matter what we do, there is almost always someone who has done more or better.

I have drawn blood a gazillion times from a gazillion people. I have heard 'you only get one try' a gazillion times and have never slapped the one saying it. I have heard 'you got it. you must be lucky' a gazillion times and never pointed out how insulting that remark is.

That must have been annoying, I gave blood yesterday and sometimes my blood has a hard time starting to flow (might have a high platelet count it's been mentioned but I don't know why this is) and it took another Red Cross person to come over and finally get it flowing. The first lady said "you might have a small bruise, I'm so sorry" and I kept telling her its not her fault, but she kept apologizing and I'm always impressed and grateful for nurses and other medical personnel because their job is not an easy one, and they usually do it very well, in addition to dealing with the stress of the job. They don't get enough recognition, IMO.
