On a dating site, thought you are a married person.

Once you run a background check on someone have you ever questioned the person involved about the results or just assume the results are accurate?

Always wondered how accurate they really are. (never ran one)

If I had a nickel for every women who loves walking on the beach (even if they are more than 100 miles from a body of water that would have sand), my retirement would be assured at a high life style. .
I think many people say they enjoy all those activities because they want to seem youthful and athletic, perhaps? I read those types of profiles too when I did online dating. Even in my 30s, I just enjoyed sitting home some evenings with an occasional weekend trip somewhere. I didn't expect any man to be a world class athlete, either, just someone who maintained physical fitness.

And yes, the fake profiles were always easy to spot.

I have female friends in their 60s looking to marry a man with great wealth. I tell them it won't happen. Although I'm sure they can date plenty of men, I doubt they will marry these kinds of men they want. Men in that age bracket with any kind of assets aren't looking to tie up their finances in another marriage, that late in life.

^^^^^^^^ Gee whiz, I thought it was just me.

It seems every guy I see in the personals rides a motorcycle (I won't), hikes (I can't anymore), it's unbelievable.

I just want a nice guy who enjoys home life, no parties, a little travel (by car), likes music, some movies, eating out.

And I don't want to get married. Once was enough for me.

There is not a male soul out there interested.

Of course my age (77) is no doubt the turn off.
