There are at least two areas on the C-D forums. There is an entire category for "funny links". There are also lots of fun threads in the Other Topics section.

Anyway, it is my opinion that the Retirement forum should be mainly about retirement issues. Certainly there are enough of them. There is always Facebook and other platforms for those who just want to post funny stuff and chat.

The beauty of a forum like C-D is there are so many areas of interest and you don't have to stay in just one subtopic if you're interested in other things. Humor/funny links are not specific to being retired or planning for retirement, so something devoted to that would not fit in with a sub devoted to retirement issues and topics.

Great time to explore the full range of what's available on C-D, especially after a period of absence.

It married a younger woman, relegated itself to a life of being poor, moved to a low cost state and went to work at Walmart as a greeter by day and a stocker by night.

Thank you for writing this. I have been thinking the same thing. The comedy thing needs to go in its own spot, and I don't think it's in retirement.

I've been thinking about leaving C-D retirement since it seems the whole thing is turning into something I don't care about.

I'm having some eye surgery soon so think this will be the perfect time to do that.

OK, I'll probably get "beat up" for this, but I can live without seeing LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL in every post. Some things are just not funny, no matter how hard that writer tries to make it.
And where the heck is all the sarcasm coming from? It seems a lot of posters I used to enjoy reading have turned it into joke/sarcasm. Gag.
