Let me offer a slightly different opinion. I appreciate when someone reminds me to have a check up or go see the doctor.
I don't consider it nagging. I consider it a sign that they care and are genuinely worried. So I then reluctantly make that stupid doctor appointment and it turns out to be nothing and then I send that person a bill for my stupid co-pay. Win-win.
We are all adults, but an occasional reminder is not the end of the world.
I try not to get into the others' health business. I have some unhealthy habits myself. I'm active, go to the gym, and generally eat decent, but drink a lot and am heavier.
I've tried to get my mother and ex-girlfriend to be more active. It's simply not who they are, and belaboring the point is fruitless.
Yes, it can be annoying to hear talk about health conditions all the time. However, I have a couple of long-time girlfriends, and we see each other frequently and talk about everything under the sun. I have referred them to a good specialist Dr if they don't already have one, just like I would do for a family member.
I have never had a flu shot because I'm very allergic to one of the ingredients (Neosporin.) If they ever do come out with a biologic universal flu shot (which will probably NOT have Neosporin in it because the biologics don't need it) that is safe and effective, then I'll get it. But not before.
I was unable to get the "old" shingles vaccine (Zostavax) for the same reason. I will eventually get the Shingrix vaccine which does not have Neosporin in it.
I did get the Prevnar 13 pneumonia shot and have been meaning to make an appt to get the other one. Neither has Neosporin in it. Unfortunately I haven't had a two-week period when it would be convenient for my right arm to be totally messed up afterward; can't get shots in the left arm due to lymph node removal. Maybe in October, when gardening season is over....
Lately I've been making a real effort to not talk about my health/problems in RL because I know what I pain it is to listen to others do the same. (Breast cancer is different, there's a kind of sisterhood there and everyone seems to either know or be someone whom that has personally touched.)
A few years ago a friend asked me what I do to "stay active." I looked her right in the eye and replied "Do you want the truth or the socially-acceptable lie?" with a wry smile. She did a doubletake, laughed, and said "Okay, never mind."

Are you in your 30s or so. If yes, take this time to get control of your health. See here i am telling someone what to do -
But seriously - the younger you are, the easier it is to stay and get in shape.
Depends upon your public exposure and natural immunity. My husband gets flu shot every year as he is regularly exposed to a large diverse population including immigrants. The flu does not protect against every strain. So he gets the flu shot every year but has a higher probability of getting the flu vs. me who doesn't get the flu shot but has very limited public exposure.
Not suggesting this is the case with you and your sister but there is a case to be made for getting flu shots.
My husband worked with a lot of people who were required to take the flu shots, military people, he also never had any flu shots, he was in the elevator with these young people with flu after the flu shots. He got nothing.
I get my flu shots. I never get the flu. I barely get colds.
Anecdotal evidence isn’t evidence.
More anecdotal evidence? My husband never got flu shots. He got a brain tumor.
Your sister getting flu shots actually may give her needed antibodies to help her fight the virus so she doesn’t die. People die every year from influenza.
My mom and my sister always got flu shots, perhaps, they have weaker immune system.

That's why I get flu shots. I have a slightly compromised immune system. A cold easily goes into bronchitis, with a cough that lasts weeks. It's turned me into a champion hand washer.
Husband very rarely got colds or flu.
