I can't think of any "fake" people in my life. Unless they are so good at being fake that I don't catch on, of course.

Most people have different roles that they play around others, but that doesn't necessarily make them fake. For instance, a corporate type could very well be a cokehead at home, but never show that side of them at work. We all have different roles to play in our lives with different people. I don't think of that as being fake.


Edit: Okay, I do know one fake person, but he has mental health issues, so I won't count him. He leads a completely different life online with his friends, and they have no idea that everything he says/does online is fake.

If you live in CA, you’ve met a lot of fake people. Coming from New England, where directness is common, and a virtue, this took me by surprise.
