"Retirement regrets" is one of the common clickbait headlines, always good to tempt people into reading the article.

It's kind of dumb, really, like a retired person exclaiming, "Oh man, there may have been a regret I missed, I'd better read this!"

"Regrets, I've had a few, but then again, too few to mention."
I love that attitude and try to live it.

Wish we would stop paying attention to these regurgitation lists.
Half of the so called “ regrets” on the list contradict the other half: “leaving workplace too early” vs “not retiring earlier”.
Stupid, stupid, click bait!

I don't think retirement changes people......if you were often jealous, unhappy, regretful, easily bored before retirement, guess what?

#7 and #8 are us.
not retiring Earlier, and not down-sizing earlier.
since 7 is already past tense, we are working on 8.
so far, emptied one storage unit. another to go.

None of those things fit us.

When the US Navy gave me a pension we were ready for it. We have been living on that pension for 18 years. I look forward to being eligible for SS in a few years.
