I live in Colorado, a state that has legalized both medical and recreational marijuana.

I'm curious but I haven't tried it. Have you? How was your experience?

Then do so. After a few go's... report back with your experience and impression.
Ask your kids (or grandkids) to show you.

Overrated. Makes doing things that requiring thinking a hassle. Makes you lazy and makes you eat too much. Unhealthy to ingest smoke. Sometimes provides euphoria for otherwise pleasurable things like listening to music or enjoying fun things.
Despite weed being sort of legal, employers can still drug test by snipping your hair to see what you've been up to the past several months.

Do whatever you want to. The smell of pot alone is enough to make me want to puke.

Tried it when I was in Vietnam and hated it. The only reason I tried it was was a group of about 6 of us were sitting in a circle and someone passed a joint. Made me feel stupid and why anyone would want to pay money to feel that way is beyond me.

I don't drink and I don't do drugs because I do need whatever brain I have to function. Well, I guess I do drink very occasionally and in the past 50 years I doubt I have consumed more than two glasses of wine in an evening. Wine is all I drink, hate the taste of hard liquor and beer. Beer makes me wanna puke.

I wasn't a fan when I was younger, but gave it another try, and no, still not a fan.

If you'd told me in 1970 that gay marriage would be legal nationwide before marijuana, I'd have called you crazy, but here we are. I blame Nixon and the Reagans for playing political points games with people's lives.

I've known plenty of people who've imbibed regularly for decades and managed to go to work everyday, pay their bills, raise their children, and otherwise be productive members of society.

Sounds a lot like me. Tried pot a few times in the early 70's while living in Hawaii, didn't really care for it. For me it was like having that third drink...should have stopped at two. Some people enjoy the high, I didn't.

Anytime someone tries to entice me to share a joint because it'll relax me, make me happy etc. etc. I tell them I'm already relaxed and couldn't stand being any happier.
