The most obvious one is that I groan in pain when I get up or move sometimes, as the arthritis gets more and more pervasive and intense.

I put the car fob in my pocket and my phone in the car’s center console when I shop. My phone is in a wallet case, so I keep my credit card and driver’s license in it and don’t carry a purse/pocketbook or bag. I wanted to get a few things at a nearby plant nursery this morning and was multi-tasking, trying to quickly get out of the house.

I parked my car and went to grab my phone/wallet case and looked down to see I had brought the TV remote instead of my phone! What? How? WTF! I have plenty of excuses, but in the end, that was a really “old person” thing to do.

I have mixed up the TV remote and the house portable phone before!

Please be careful, though. My previous neighbor had has wallet stolen from his car, even in a gated neighborhood.

putter around the house and in the garden

sit with my chickens for hours

make everything from scratch, even my soap

it is only with GREAT effort that I am keeping myself from putting bows and such in my dogs' and goats' hair

wearing elastic waist pants and "granny panties"

my 2 favorite smells are [always were] old ladies smells, roses and lilacs

I very much walk down our 43 concrete steps from our house to the bottom of the mountain, verrrrrry slowly and oldly

I find the above charming.

Maybe that is an old thing to do!

I don’t keep it in the car, that is just where I have it when driving, but thanks for the warning.
