I kick pebbles in parking lots, and I scream for ice cream.

Rent expensive sports cars like Audi R8, Porsche, Lambo Huracán, and take one or two full tilt out on the track every year at Christmas time.
Birthday gift to myself.

I've dyed my hair since I was 15 and still do. I put on a little make up and get dressed most days. I swim for over an hour 3 x weekly and eat ice cream every week. I paint and play harp regularly. That said, I wish I could sleep like I did when young!!

Listen to loud music. Play loud rock music in my car. Wear skinny jeans. Stay up late. Sleep late. Go to movies. Spend way too much time on social media. Go to rock concerts. Listen to new music. Follow styles. Wear flats. Wear Converse All Stars. Wear high heals.

My "young person" thing is a teddy bear. Some years ago I was involved in a family crisis and was on the verge of a nervous breakdown. A counselor I saw noticed my distress and offered me a large teddy bear to hug while we talked. I found that this simple gesture helped relieve my anxiety and made me feel so much better. I never forgot that. So for my 60th birthday I treated myself to my own teddy bear. Now I sleep with him every night, and he's a great comfort. I had a pretty awful childhood without much emotional support, and the bear symbolizes to me the love and support I needed but didn't get. My husband has also grown quite fond of the bear. He's become like a member of the family. People may think it's silly, but I don't care. I think everyone ought to have a teddy bear!

We ride our motorcycles, go camping, go to theme parks and ride roller coasters, ride water slides at the water park, go out with my lady friends and dance to rock music, just generally party like it's 1999.
