after i retired from full-time with benefits, i now have a part-time with no benefits job.
merchandising: setting up store displays. it is easy (for me) and pays well.
for example...today i was paid $150 to set five end caps. it took 2 hours.

For those of you say "if you're making money at something, you're not retired

..PLEASE NOTE: I posted in my OP that it was NOT to be about who was fully retired or not.....

If you think if you have money coming in from a source is NOT RETIRED, JUST WHERE is your money coming from?

So you do something you LOVE, that happens to make a little money, but you no longer go to the big office ( factory, wherehouse, corporate headquarters etc,) and punch in for 5 or so days a week and punch a time card to earn a rat's race worth of income ( that you hate with a passion and can't wait to get out of)

There is a big difference between nose to the grindstone and making a little money at something you LOVE, especially when you can "work" only when you want to and your bills are paid already and NOT dependent on "earning" somethingto survive.

.mathjak happens to love playing the drums, if he makes some money at it when he does it, hes still retired from the rat race that was the daily heating/air conditioning grind he HAD to go to.

And if he snaps a shot that earns himself a stint at the Russian Tea Room, great.

Instead maybe some of you are jealous that others make money doing the things they love.

That's excellent pay for merchandising. I used to do merch in the summer when online sales were slow. Got me out of the house.

C-D 'retirement forum unspoken rules'...

retirement ONLY means sitting around counting your pension. Being prepared to call the Fed Gov if the direct deposit slips one day (as so they were 'conditioned')

"Scrooge McDuck"

Ok... enjoy your 'retirement' The rest of us will enjoy ours too!

Adventure awaits!

Live on.

No side hustle for me. Unless you call hunting discounts and bargains a job.

Had lunch at Chickfila today - free 4pc strip from app, free sandwich for completing survey, two senior drinks, and large fries. $2.26 total.
